Job summary

Industrial Inspection & Analysis is seeking a full-time Mechanical Testing Technician for our lab in St. Louis, MO.

The role involves performing laboratory testing on a wide variety of materials, following specs and procedures, and documenting results with precision equipment usage. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, with knowledge of safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of concepts, practices, procedures and testing equipment in the materials lab.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work, analyze and solve problems, and complete paperwork accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Knowledge and compliance of workplace health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing of a broad range of materials.
• Follow specifications (ASTM, ASME), drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including dial caliper, micrometer, and other specialized measurement equipment.
• Maintain equipment, quality and safety standards.
