Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Metallurgical Technician to perform hands-on metallurgical lab activities supporting materials development, Additive Manufacturing process work, and production operations. You will prepare samples, conduct material characterization, and document results while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures, safely operate equipment, and document results.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn metallurgical processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine imaging, measurements, and material testing per procedures.
• Prepare samples and metallographic evaluations for AM and materials development.
• Operate laboratory equipment and maintain calibration records.
• Support powder characterization, tensile tests, and heat-treatment trials.
• Log work, manage priorities, and ensure timely testing completion.
• Review results for accuracy and escalate issues to the team.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and proper sample handling.
• Follow safety procedures and quality processes; assist other lab activities.
