Job summary

Arconic Corporation currently seeks a Metallurgical Engineer to join the Massena, New York-based Quality Team. The role involves reviewing customer specs, approving practices, and leading root cause analyses to maintain high quality and compliance with ISO9000 and AS9100 standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Metallurgical Engineering or related field, strong teamwork, and US work authorization; ITAR restrictions apply, and no visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales involvement / New Product Development: review specs and prepare letters of acceptance or exception.
• Final Production Routing Review: approve new practices and optimize costs.
• Root Cause Analysis on production lines and corrective actions.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate with Quality Systems for corrective actions.
• Support Massena’s Quality Management System and ISO9000/AS9100 certifications.
