PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a skilled Metallurgical Lab Technician II to support laboratory testing, inspections, and QA activities in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Metallurgy and extensive experience in mechanical/metallurgical testing, with a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM). This contract-to-hire opportunity offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree in Metallurgy is required.
• 5 years of laboratory experience in mechanical and metallurgical testing.
• 3 years of mechanical/metallurgical lab training plus 2 years lab experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain material traceability and assist with physical and mechanical testing.
• Utilize precision inspection tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, procedures, and technical drawings.
• Perform inspections including Dimensional, MRB, and Receiving Inspections.
• Conduct mechanical testing for product acceptance and qualifications (Torque, Torque-Tension, Tensile, Vibration, Push-Out, Torque-Out).
• Prepare inspection and test reports.
• Complete work order entries and dimensional layout documentation.
• Verify product acceptance using Sampling Plans, Engineering Drawings, Standards, Specifications, and Work Instructions.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, reports, and logbooks.
