You will review results, prepare reports against specifications, and communicate findings to the met lab supervisor and plant management to support on-time production and quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and ability to prepare reports.
• Commitment to safety and PPE compliance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform metallurgical testing to analyze material structure, hardness, case depth.
• Meet production deadlines by performing tests quickly.
• Review test results and approve materials based on specifications.
• Communicate results to lab supervisor and plant management.
• Develop and maintain charts and reports for metallurgical processes.
• Comply with Global Manufacturing System procedures.
• Troubleshoot during manufacturing processes.
• Operate lab equipment safely and perform preventative maintenance.
