Job summary

ULA is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to join the Parts, Materials, and Processes (PMP) Engineering team in Centennial, Colorado. You will support design, analysis, material selection, and process development for launch vehicles.

The role requires a BS in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering and at least four years of related experience, plus the ability to work independently and in a team. Relocation may be available and travel is about 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum four years' experience in metallurgical or materials engineering.
• Experience resolving complex material and process anomalies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, material selection, process development and material qualification for launch vehicles.
• Provide metallurgical engineering expertise throughout hardware development from concept to flight qualification.
• Lead or support development and qualification of new materials and processing methods.
• Review engineering drawings and communicate technical recommendations to leadership and teams.
