Job summary

ATI, located in Cudahy, Wisconsin, seeks a Metallurgical Engineer to develop materials applications and manufacturing technologies. You will review customer inquiries, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide projects from concept to production while ensuring quality and performance standards are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science with at least 2 years in a manufacturing setting, excellent analytical and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science.
2+ years of manufacturing environment experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and develop technology assessment to improve productivity and quality.
Provide metallurgical input for process design and production execution.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal Sales/Marketing and Engineering teams to qualify new materials.
Plan and execute production-type special projects.
Report progress to senior leadership from Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales.
Support visits to customers and participation in meetings with metallurgical input.
