Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in metallurgy or materials engineering, with an M.S. preferred, and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

  • Requires B.S. in metallurgy or materials engineering.
  • M.S. in materials/metallurgy a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in material science preferred.
  • PE license or path toward licensure desired.

Responsibilities

  • Review client needs related to failed or damaged metal components (tubing, pipes, pump and valve components, turbine components,Mechanical devices, and various other industrial equipment).
  • Develop proposals for condition assessment or failure analysis services.
  • Manage metallurgical laboratory projects via scope coordination, results review, and reporting of findings and recommendations.
  • Provide materials support to SI’s teams, including consulting for nuclear, fossil, and renewable energy clients; root cause investigations; asset management and condition assessment.
