Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Metallurgical Engineer to lead alloy performance improvements, casting processes, and product quality for aerospace, defense, petrochemical, and industrial markets.

This role supports melting, casting, heat treatment, and finishing operations, while reviewing customer specifications and technical requirements. You will analyze metallurgical data, microstructures, and mechanical properties, troubleshooting quality and production challenges through

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in metallurgical or related field required.
• Minimum two years in foundry, casting, or metals manufacturing.
• Strong metallurgy, materials science and manufacturing process knowledge.
• Ability to analyze data, microstructures and mechanical properties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Improve alloy performance, casting processes and product quality from lab to shop floor.
• Support melting, casting, heat treatment and finishing operations.
• Review customer specs, purchase orders and technical requirements.
• Analyze metallurgical data, microstructures and mechanical properties.
• Troubleshoot quality and production challenges via root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, sales and customers.
• Prepare technical reports and customer documentation (40% desk duty).
• Lead process improvements focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Support alloy development and manufacturing optimization projects.
