Management Performance Associates is seeking a hands-on Metallurgical Engineer to work on large alloy castings for aerospace and related industries in Milwaukee. The role combines lab and shop-floor duties to improve alloy performance, casting processes, and product quality.

You will review customer specifications, analyze metallurgical data, and collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and customers to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum two years of foundry or metals manufacturing experience.
• Strong metallurgy and materials science knowledge.
• Ability to analyze data, microstructures, and mechanical properties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.
• Comfortable working in both office and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Improve alloy performance, casting processes, and product quality from lab or shop floor.
• Support melting, casting, heat treatment, and finishing operations.
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Perform metallurgical analysis of data and microstructures.
• Lead root-cause analysis of quality and production issues.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, sales, and customers.
• Prepare technical reports and customer documentation.
