Job summary

Talent With Heart seeks a hands-on Metallurgical Engineer in Milwaukee to join our castings team. You will apply metallurgical skills to improve alloy performance, casting processes, and product quality on lab and shop floor.

The role blends analysis, testing, and practical manufacturing support. Responsibilities include supporting melting, casting, heat treatment, and finishing operations; reviewing specs; analyzing microstructures and properties; and leading process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in metallurgical/Materials engineering or related field.
• Minimum two years in foundry, casting operation, or metals manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support melting, casting, heat treatment, and finishing operations.
• Review customer specifications, purchase orders, and technical requirements.
• Analyze metallurgical data, microstructures, and mechanical properties.
• Troubleshoot quality and production challenges through root cause analysis.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
