Job summary

TW Metals, LLC is seeking an Operations employee to support all warehouse activities with focus on material handling and order fulfillment. You will prepare, stage, and organize materials for distribution, pull stock for sales orders, verify specs, and record data in the ERP system.

The role requires familiarity with cutting equipment and powered industrial equipment like forklifts and cranes, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment and cutting equipment.
• Proficient in reading tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
• Basic math using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to learn and navigate an ERP system.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and apply problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare, stage, and organize materials for distribution.
• Pull materials from stock and fill sales orders.
• Confirm material specs, quality, quantity, dimensions, and tolerances; record information in ERP system or job tickets.
• Operate cutting equipment such as Chop Saw, Band Saw, Plate Saw, Shear Machine, Waterjet, and Laser Machine to process materials per work orders.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, side loader, Combilift, overhead crane and order pickers) to move and stage materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain quality standards during material handling and machine operation.
• Assist with department clean-up, routine equipment checks, and other tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
