Job summary

Metalstorm,-In is seeking a Saw Operator in De Pere, Wisconsin. The role requires reviewing cut lists, determining cutting times, and verifying material specifications to produce accurately cut parts.

Responsibilities include staging parts, tracking time, maintaining a clean work area, and communicating any discrepancies to production leads. The position also offers opportunities to assist other areas as needed and to grow within a manufacturing environment.

Saw Operator

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reviews cut lists as provided by production leads
• Determines the cutting time required for each job
• Verifies the material, thickness, length, and grade is correct.
• Cuts parts to specifications.
• Stages parts as specified in compliance with Standard Conventions.
• Accurately tracks and documents time spent cutting each job.
• Keeps area clean and organized.
• Communicates with Leads on any discrepancies on parts
• Assists other areas from time to time as directed.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds daily.
• All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Education:

• High School or equivalent preferred

Salary:

• Starting at $18-$24/hour (based on knowledge and experience)

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shifts
• Monday-Friday
• Daytime
