Job summary

MetalStorm Inc. is seeking a reliable Saw Operator to support our manufacturing team in De Pere, WI. You will review cut lists, estimate cutting times, and ensure materials meet specifications while maintaining safe, efficient production.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication with leads, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shifts are 8-10 hours, Monday–Friday, daytime, with comprehensive benefits.

• Clear and effective communication with production leads and team members.
• Knowledge of tooling and best practices for material handling.

Responsibilities

• Review cut lists provided by production leads.
• Determine the cutting time required for each job.
• Verify the material, thickness, length, and grade is correct.
• Cut parts to specifications.
• Stage parts as specified in compliance with Standard Conventions.
• Accurately tracks and documents time spent cutting each job.
• Keeps area clean and organized.
• Communicates with Leads on any discrepancies on parts.
• Assists other areas from time to time as directed.

• Verifies the material, thickness, length, and grade is correct.
• Cuts parts to specifications.
• Stages parts as specified in compliance with Standard Conventions.
• Accurately tracks and documents time spent cutting each job.
• Keeps area clean and organized.
• Communicates with Leads on any discrepancies on parts
• Assists other areas from time to time as directed.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds daily.
• All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Education:

• High School or equivalent preferred

Salary:

• Starting at $18-$24/hour (based on knowledge and experience)
