Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services, Inc. seeks a Material Handler to manage on-floor operations with heavy machinery on the warehouse floor. The role requires safe handling, accurate setup to specifications, and transfer of materials per work orders.

You will inspect, verify, tag, and weigh materials, assist in packaging, and maintain equipment as part of daily duties, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Safety-minded with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per work order specifications.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per written instructions.
• Assist in the packaging of material per work instructions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general cleanup.
• Identify, record, and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Provide feedback on machine efficiency and product quality.
• Train others when required.
• Support lean and quality initiatives.
