Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC seeks a material handler to manage warehouse floor activities, operate cranes and forklifts, verify orders, and document measurements to ensure quality and safety on the job. The role focuses on maintaining equipment and work areas while complying with work order specifications.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates safety-focused mindset and adherence to procedures.
• Reads and writes clearly and can follow written work orders.
• Performs basic math as part of quality checks and packaging instructions.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per specifications and notes.
• Record measurements and ensure conformance to setup notes.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Enter/delete material IDs per instructions and assist in packaging.
