Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials Services in Santa Fe Springs, CA, seeks a Warehouse Material Handler to process metal orders and operate material handling equipment on the warehouse floor. You will ensure safe, accurate processing and maintain clean, organized work areas while following work order specifications.

The role requires reading/writing, lifting up to 40 lbs, basic math, and a safety-minded approach. Forklift experience and computer literacy are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math skills.
• Safety mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per work order specifications.
• Process setup notes per written work instructions.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per instructions.
• Maintain weighing scale and record inspection measurements.
• Identify and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
