Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking a Material Handler to efficiently process material according to work orders and safely operate cranes and forklifts on the warehouse floor. Maintain clean, safe work areas and document measurements for quality control.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write, and physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs. Prior forklift experience and hand-held measuring tools knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material according to specifications.
• Record measurements and ensure setup notes meet work orders.
• Enter and maintain material identification tags per instructions.
• Assist in packaging of material and lean/quality activities.
• Work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
