Qualifications

  • Lead, coach, and support production team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and operational objectives.
  • Plan, organize, and direct daily production activities and work assignments to meet production schedules and delivery requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with production teams, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, productivity, and employee health and safety standards.
  • Monitor workplace organization and housekeeping standards and address safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review production reports, records, and performance metrics, taking corrective action when needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and engineering support activities to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Analyze inventory levels and support material planning activities to maintain production continuity.
  • Manage departmental spending, support budget adherence, and purchase necessary production equipment and materials.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures and address employee performance or conduct issues as appropriate.

Position Overview

You will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for manufacturing operations, ensuring the achievement of production, quality, safety, and schedule attainment objectives. In this role, you will coordinate team activities, allocate resources, and support employees in meeting operational goals while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, and other production leaders to drive efficient operations and continuous improvement. You will also use data, reporting, and inventory insights to support decision-making and operational performance. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing results through leadership, process improvement, and operational ownership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, influence, and communication skills in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives within a team-based setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities effectively.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain production reports, records, and operational documentation.
  • Experience supporting production, inventory, safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • High level of integrity and ability to apply policies and procedures consistently.
