Job summary

You will oversee setup, continuous improvement, and equipment projects to support cost reduction and throughput improvements. The role requires deep knowledge of metal fabrication, ISO 9001/AS9100, and 6S, with hands-on experience in guiding CNC programs and cross-functional collaboration with design and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Ten years of industrial engineering or related manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and 6S.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement engineering designs into manufacturing processes.
• Create and develop work standards, routings, SOEs and processes.
• Communicate capabilities and limitations to design, quality, and cost teams.
• Advise on equipment and tooling purchases to meet product goals.
• Participate in ECO processes to coordinate engineering changes in manufacturing.
• Execute feasibility studies, equipment specs, design justification and implementation.
• Maintain orderly manufacturing areas and enforce 7S initiatives.
• Train staff for operating performance and ensure adherence to schedules.
