Gemini is currently seeking a Metal Letter/Plaque Finisher to join our Plaques team in Cannon Falls, MN on the 1st shift. The minimum starting pay is $18.94/hour. Ideal candidate has a mechanical aptitude and good attention to detail with openness and flexibility to work around the plant. This is a great opportunity to work with a fun team and produce high-quality, custom, one-of-a-kind metal plaques and to cross train and learn continuously.

A day in the life of a Metal Letter Plaque Finisher at Gemini includes:

• Inspects finished products for function, aesthetics and quality.
• Monitoring accuracy and completeness of order including mountings and hardware.
• Constructs shipping cartons for the shipping of finished products.
• Maintains familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading, etc. and prepares products for UPS/truck pick-up required.
• Reviews production orders to assure requirements of the job.
• Belt sands gates, flashing and unwanted roughness from the metal letters and logos.
• Drills and taps letters or stud weld parts for further handling or customer installation.
• Polishes parts to a “near mirror” consistent finish.
• Maintains awareness of order dates, reworks and remakes, while prioritizing workflow accordingly.
• The work environment is clean, bright, and hot around equipment.
• Reporting to our Plant Supervisor.
