Job summary

Metalcrafters NC is seeking an Installation Crew Member in Goldsboro, NC. You will join a field installation team to install custom metal products on commercial job sites, working with an experienced foreman.

The role requires physical labor, safety-mindedness, and a readiness to learn while maintaining quality craftsmanship. You will read drawings, use a tape measure and level, operate hand and power tools, and assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience required.
• Previous miscellaneous metal, construction, or field installation experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of stairs, railings, handrails, gates, ladders, and other metal products.
• Perform field welding and fabrication as needed to complete installations.
• Read and accurately use a tape measure and level.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and handling fabricated materials.
• Follow drawings, project requirements, and direction from the Installation Foreman.
• Work as part of a crew to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.
• Maintain tools, equipment, PPE, and crew vehicles.
• Keep job sites and vehicles clean and organized.
• Follow all safety requirements and communicate professionally on site.
