This contract-to-hire, long-term opportunity offers growth for candidates with extended finishing and polishing skills. Typical duties include grinding, deburring, polishing, and inspecting parts, while maintaining safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Previous hand grinding experience required.
• Previous metal finishing experience required.
• Experience polishing, deburring, or smoothing aluminum/metal.
• Powder coating experience is a plus and may qualify for $20/hour

Responsibilities

• Use hand grinders to smooth edges and surfaces on aluminum and other metal components.
• Grind, deburr, smooth, and finish metal parts.
• Polish finished metal pieces.
• Prepare surfaces to achieve a clean, quality finish.
• Inspect finished pieces for consistency and quality.
• Perform repetitive finishing work with attention to detail.
• Assist with additional metal finishing duties as needed.
• Work with components used to manufacture industrial shrink-wrapping equipment
