Responsibilities include operating a high-speed hand grinder, deburring, finishing, and performing quality inspections. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and 2nd shift hours with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Grinder Operator – $20.00/hour – Southpointe

Mancan Staffing is hiring a Grinder Operator for a reputable manufacturing facility in the Southpointe area! This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for dependable and motivated individuals looking to build a career with a solid company.

Job Duties

• Operate a high-speed hand grinder to blend corners of welded steel enclosures and cabinets for a smooth, seamless finish.
• Perform deburring, finishing, grinding, cosmetic grinding, and sanding using hand tools and an orbital sander.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Assist with general labor duties across the facility as needed.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Use measuring tools and perform basic shop math.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Must be available for overtime when required.

Pay Rate

$20.00/hour

Requirements

• Experience with grinders, deburring, finishing, and cosmetic grinding or in a metal fabrication environment preferred.
• Experience working with industrial cabinetry is highly desired.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Team-oriented and adaptable to changing duties.
