Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate all deburring equipment required in the performance of the position.
  • Ability to achieve the required edge break and/or radius as required by work instructions.
  • Knowledge of deburring media and the selection of the proper type as defined by the work instructions.
  • Knowledge of customer specifications pertaining to visual non-conformances and surface finishes.
  • Ability to perform hand drilling and drill press operations.
  • Tap holes and perform assembly operations.
  • Utilize measuring equipment such as height gage, micrometers, calipers, radius gages, thread gages, etc., as applicable.
  • Ability to read, interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
  • Complete required documentation related to work order.
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills.
  • Always maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Understand and implement the company's quality policy in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, statutes, rules, and regulations, including environmental, health and safety, and conservation of energy and materials.
  • Assume responsibility for compliance with the company’s FAA Inspection Procedures Manual and FAR 65 when assigned to the Repair Station.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training and maintain knowledge of the company’s internal compliance policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
