Job summary

TPi Arcade, LLC is seeking detail-oriented individuals for 1st or 2nd shift in the Cleaning Room to finish grind castings and ensure quality per customer specs. The roles involve using pneumatic and electric hand tools, with a $1.50/hour shift differential on 2nd shift and a $500 sign-on bonus plus a yearly safety and attendance reward program.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with varying start times and weekly hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Straighten castings and finish grind to customer specs.
• Sort castings into batches for sequencing.
• Work as part of a team to produce quality parts to standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Perform minor maintenance on grinders (cleaning, discs, belts).
• Learn to use various hand tools.
• Learn to read technical documents.
• Learn to use measuring instruments.
• Work to posted standards and instructions.
• Straighten, gauge and patch to meet specs.
• Inspect parts per posted instructions.
• Identify gross casting defects and inform supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Are you detail oriented and good with finishing tools like pneumatic and electric hand tools - grinder, dynafile, etc.?

We're seeking individuals to be part of our 1st or 2nd shift Cleaning Room team.

• 1st Shift Schedule is Monday - Friday 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM/1:30 PM 40 - 44 hours per week.
• 2nd Shift Schedule is Monday - Thursday 1:30PM - 12:00AM/1:00AM 40 - 44 hours per week ($1.50/hour shift differential).
• We offer a $500.00 sign-on bonus paid in two installments, plus a Safety & Attendance Reward Program up to $2,600 per year.

SUMMARY

To efficiently utilize the proper casting finishing practices and techniques which satisfy the customer and/or subsequent process operations. Involves grinding castings of advanced complexity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Straightening castings and finish grinding casting to customer specifications.
• Sort castings into batches to be sequenced through the department.
• Work as part of a team towards producing Quality parts to production standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper safe working condition.
• Perform minor maintenance on grinders - cleaning, replacing discs, belts, etc.
• Learn to use various hand tools.
• Learn to read technical documents.
• Learn to use various measuring instruments.
• Work to posted standards and instructions.
• Straighten, gauge and patch when necessary to meet specifications.
• Inspect parts to posted instructions.
• Learn gross casting defects and be able to identify them, informing the lead person or supervisor immediately.
• Follow all health and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands

This position requires constant standing for 8 - 12 hour shifts, pneumatic and electric powered hand tools and the ability to lift up to maximum of 50 lbs. consistently.

Working Conditions

The employee is exposed to an environment where hearing protection, eye safety, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. During warm & humid weather, employee is exposed to higher heat risks due to ambient temperature along with generated heat from equipment.
