Responsibilities

• Set up ring press, change tooling, dial in settings for size/thickness
• Serve as primary overhead crane operator for steel liner area
• Cut/shear metal to spec and tack strips with a welder
• Roll assemblies to true roundness and inspect tolerances
• Operate grinders, dress welds, run flash welder and trimmer
• Use presses to adjust rings to tolerances and verify with measurements
• Load/unload line, move products by forklift, perform pre-op checks
• Maintain organized, damage-free station; perform minor repairs
• Support changeovers and adapt to non-standard hours

Make Precision Steel Rings That Power North America’s InfrastructureJob Type: Full-time | Pay: $17.00+ DOE | Shift: 1st, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.A Day in the LifeYou clock in at 6:00 a.m., review the day’s build plan from your supervisor, and set up the ring press for the first run—changing tooling and dialing in settings for size and thickness. You’ll be the primary overhead crane operator for the steel liner area, moving material safely and precisely.
