Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced manufacturing technician in Richmond, VA to operate metal forming equipment and set up tooling from blueprints and routing information to produce high-quality components in a fast-paced environment. You will perform machine changeovers, inspect finished parts, and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives to support reliability and productivity.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of experience working with mechanical equipment.
2+ years of machine operating experience.
2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate metal forming and metalworking equipment.
Produce parts that meet quality, efficiency, and production standards.
Interpret blueprints and routing instructions to configure machines and tooling.
Perform machine changeovers and equipment adjustments as needed.
Complete daily preventative maintenance activities on production equipment.
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and extend tooling life.
