Job summary

Avtec Finishing is seeking a Production Racker for the metal finishing line in New Hope, MN. The role starts at $22.00 per hour on 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM) with potential overtime and a $1,500 signing bonus for eligible hires.

You will prepare metal parts for plating, rack and unrack parts, and follow instructions to maintain quality and output. Training is provided; no metal finishing experience required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attendance and punctuality.
• Able to read, understand and follow written work instructions.
• Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks with consistent quality.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Rack and unrack metal parts before and after plating or finishing.
• Read and follow job paperwork and instructions.
• Select racks and tooling for each job.
• Handle customer parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Inspect parts for defects.
• Maintain efficient pace while protecting quality.
• Keep parts organized and identified throughout process.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Collaborate with team to keep production moving.
• Perform related production duties as assigned.
