Job summary

Avtec Finishing in New Hope, MN is seeking a Production Racker for the 2nd shift to prepare parts for plating and metal finishing. You'll rack parts, read work orders, and follow procedures, ensuring quality while meeting production pace.

Training is provided, no prior metal finishing required. With a starting wage of $24.00/hour and potential earnings up to $76,040/year including overtime, attendance rewards and profit sharing, this role offers growth in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rack and unrack metal parts before and after plating or finishing.
• Read and follow job paperwork and written work instructions.
• Select and use the proper racks and tooling for each job.
• Handle customer parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Inspect parts for obvious defects or concerns.
• Maintain an efficient production pace while protecting quality.
• Keep parts organized and properly identified throughout the process.
• Follow established safety, quality and production procedures.
• Work with your team to keep production moving.
• Perform other related production duties as assigned.
