MillerKnoll is hiring an Assembler for the Metal Finishing Department on 1st shift. You will safely load and unload the conveyor, make on-the-spot quality judgments, and support the metal coating process.

The role emphasizes performance, quality, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth within the manufacturing organization. Competitive hourly wage and benefits start on day one are offered.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or demonstrated performance competency.
• Experience interpreting scheduling sheets and paperwork for conforming parts.
• Ability to inspect parts for quality and determine corrective action.
• Ability to sand, scrap, and reorder non-conforming parts.
• Ability to lift heavy parts, pallets, and returnable bins.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while line hanging and unloading.
• Ability to differentiate between colors and check shade quality.
• Ability to use a paint measuring device and record results.
• Ability to use scanners and printers and maintain them.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload metal finishing conveyor safely and accurately.
• Make on-the-spot quality judgments on conforming/non-conforming products.
• Support all aspects of the metal coating process.
• Focus on performance, quality, on-time delivery, and flexibility.
• Take ownership of safety, quality, output, and job tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping of work areas including floors, hooks, pallets, and recycling.
