Winholt Equipment is looking to hire a Metal Finisher/Polisher.

Position Objective

The Stainless Steel and Aluminum Finishing Polisher will be responsible for finishing and polishing aluminum parts, equipment, and hardware to high-quality standards. The role also involves performing miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Finish or polish SS and AL parts using stationary and portable grinders, files, buffing wheels, and sanders.
• Wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, face shields, gloves, hardhat, dust masks, etc.
• Move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Use hands repetitively for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Stand, bend, walk, kneel, squat, and twist frequently.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Assemble items as instructed by the supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and organized; maintain equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Pay close attention to detail and focus on tasks.
• Work with the team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Prepare products for shipment if required.
• Manually lift materials and final products for shipment (up to 60 pounds), ask for assistance if needed.
• Uphold OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities.
