Job summary

Smart Trades in North Salt Lake, UT is seeking Metal Finishers/Grinders to join a metal manufacturing team. The role involves grinding, sanding, deburring, and smoothing metal parts, with focus on removing welds and surface imperfections.

Candidate should have experience with hand and power tools, detailed workmanship, and be able to work a 4-day, 10-hour swing shift schedule with a 10% differential. Pay rate is $17–$20/hr DOE.

Qualifications

• Grinding, metal finishing, fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand & power tools.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, deburr & smooth metal parts.
• Remove welds, sharp edges & surface imperfections.
• Inspect finished parts for quality.
