Job summary

Metal-Tech Partners in Geneva, NE seeks a motivated fabricator for a fast-paced, hands-on shop. You will set up and operate fabricating machines—lasers, punches, brakes, rolls, shears, grinders and drill presses—to form metal components, following drawings and tolerances.

Hours are Mon–Thu 6 AM–4:30 PM with no weekends. We offer a $300 hiring bonus, competitive pay, health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and a Simple IRA with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fabricating machines (lasers, punches, brakes, rolls, shears, grinders).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabricating machines to form metal components.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications using calipers, protractors, and tapes.
• Move parts using hoists or cranes.
• Study drawings to determine materials and task sequences.
• Lay out and examine metal stock to ensure specifications are met.
• Remove high spots and bevels with grinders and torches.
