Industrial Metal Fabrication, Inc. in Newton, KS is seeking a reliable fabrication operator to roll, brake, drill, cut and prep parts per work documents. You will read blueprints, inspect parts, and ensure quality and safe delivery.

The role requires overtime as needed and promotes a safety-first environment. The position is full-time, in-person from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Benefits include health/dental/life insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, uniforms, and training

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of experience in a welding production plant with fabrication preferred.
• High School/GED diploma preferred.
• Fabrication technical training preferred.
• Able to work overtime if needed.
• MUST be dependable and provide references and good work history.

Aufgaben

• Operate plate roll, press brake, saw, drill press or related equipment safely.
• Read and follow job orders, blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects and verify measurements.
• Inventory parts and notify foreman of discrepancies.
• Tag parts with job numbers and stage after completion.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Notify quality when job is complete for inspection.
• Use PPE and maintain safe work habits.
