Job summary

Industrial Metal Fabrication, Inc. in Newton, KS is seeking a dependable Fabrication Machine Operator to work 4 days a week (Mon–Thu) from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

You will set up and operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, plate rolls, band saws, drill presses, and ironworkers, performing metal forming, cutting, and finishing per job specs. You will read blueprints, verify dimensions, and inspect components for quality while maintaining a safe work environment and meeting production

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating industrial fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Commitment to workplace safety and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment (press brakes, plate rolls, band saws, drill presses, ironworkers).
• Form, cut, bend, and assemble steel components per specs.
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions and quantities.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and communicate issues to leadership.
• Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work area and support schedules.
