Echo Electric is seeking a Metal Fabricator to read blueprints, measure parts, and assemble metal components with precision. You will operate fabrication equipment and perform welding when qualified, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with production, welding, quality, maintenance, and engineering staff, maintaining clean workspaces and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and fabrication specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality.
• Inspect finished work and report material defects or equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and fabrication specifications to plan work.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as saws, brakes, presses, and grinders.
• Fit and assemble metal components with clamps, fixtures, and fasteners.
• Perform welding (MIG/TIG) when qualified and required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE and lockout/tagout protocols.
