Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings accurately.
• Proficient with plasma cutters, grinders, saws and other hand tools.
• Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding and safe operation of welding equipment.
• Physically fit to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Attention to detail; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are hiring a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Metal Fabricator you will be responsible for shaping, cutting and assembling metal parts to create various structures and products according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine the layout of metal parts
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on metal sheets or plates
• Cut shape bend and weld metal pieces using various tools such as plasma cutters shears press brakes and welding equipment
• Grind file and smooth out rough edges or joints of metal parts
• Assemble fabricated metal parts using bolts screws rivets or welding techniques
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers
• Maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for fabrication projects
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working with heavy machinery and hazardous materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in metalworking preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role in the manufacturing industry
• Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Proficient with various hand tools such as plasma cutters grinders saws etc
• Strong understanding of different welding techniques MIGTIG and ability to operate welding equipment safely
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
