OVERVIEW:

Join our team and bring precision to life! As a Metal Fabrication Technician, you will ensure every part is perfectly aligned and secured while meeting our production goals and safety standards. If you take pride in your work and have an eye for detail, we want you to help craft high-quality products with us.

DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES:

1. Grinding down welds on stainless steel rails to meet or exceed project and daily goals
2. Safely operating the tube bending machine and vertical saw, while adhering to all safety requirements
3. Keeping the work area clean and organized throughout the day and prior to leaving
4. Verifying dimensions and product specifications throughout the fabrication process to ensure quality control standards are met
5. Utilizing the automatic welder to complete parts before grinding/sanding stages
6. Reporting any product or machinery malfunctions
7. Assisting the CNC Operator with deburring and cleaning machined parts to meet standards before partial assembly
8. Participating in warehouse projects and tasks as assigned

WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

• High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in a Fabrication role, with demonstrable knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing orders
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work history with solid attendance
• Ability to lift heavy objects (~50 lbs) and stand/walk for up to eight hours a day
• Knowledge of warehousing standards and procedures is an advantage
