Shift Overview

• Openings on 2nd & 3rd Shift
• Shift times vary; 10-hour days, with overtime on Fridays and occasionally Saturdays

Job Summary

The Sheet Metal Fabricator (Machine Operator I) checks job sheets, sets up machines, operates various fabrication equipment, reads blueprints, troubleshoots, and maintains a clean, safe environment.

Essential Functions

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machines (press brakes, lasers, water jets, etc.)
• Set up and prepare parts, read blueprints, and troubleshoot equipment
• Load/unload materials, measure and interpret blueprints, follow instructions
• Maintain safety and cleanliness, assist co-workers, and work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience or a high school diploma/equivalent
• Experience with hand tools and basic fabrication processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication and familiarity with Pierce manufacturing processes

Key Abilities

• Perform essential functions with or without accommodations

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment safely
