Job summary

Wiederhoeft Manufacturing is seeking a manufacturing team member to set up jobs from part prints and specifications, assemble components with accuracy, and verify work against tolerances. The role emphasizes reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and maintaining quality on the floor.

The ideal candidate will bring experience with measuring equipment, forklift operation, and common shop machinery, while communicating clearly and solving problems on the line.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong fit.
• Ability to read part prints and job specifications.
• Welding experience and ability to interpret drawings are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up your own jobs from part prints and specifications.
• Assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Check finished work for conformance to prints/specifications and correct as required.
• Use measuring tools such as a tape measure and calipers; work with fractions and decimals.

Your day begins by reviewing part prints or job specifications, planning your own setups, and assembling components with care and speed.
