Job summary

Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) seeks a Metal Production Specialist to supervise an inmate workforce in the Arizona Correctional Industries (ACI) metal fabrication shop at ASPC-Eyman.

You will coordinate daily production, manage materials and inventory, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to ERP processes, and train workers. Pre-employment requirements include background, drug test, and possible medical exam. Benefits are provided by the State of Arizona.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supervisory techniques for managing an inmate workforce
• Experience with metal fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of safety, security, and quality standards in a correctional environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily production activities within an assigned manufacturing area
• Sets up daily work assignments and plans production activities with supervisor
• Monitors inventory levels and requisitions raw materials and supplies
• Ensures quality control and safety across production processes
• Trains and mentors inmate workforce participants
• Maintains production documentation and reports progress to supervisor
