Job summary

Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is hiring for a Workforce Program Specialist (Industrial Program Specialist) in Tucson, AZ. The role oversees production in a manufacturing setting, maintains security, and ensures a safe, efficient work environment at Arizona Correctional Industries sites.

The position requires supervision experience, knowledge of relevant laws, and ability to coordinate with regional managers.

Qualifications

• Requires supervision experience and ability to oversee workforce participants and inmate activities.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and agency laws and procedures.
• Experience with security, safety, and discipline in a correctional environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees workforce participants and community-based work crews at ACI sites.
• Maintains safety and security of participants and crews.
• Conducts observations and headcounts; oversees production activities and schedules.
• Reviews work output, coaches staff, and administers performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Drives state vehicles as needed and coordinates with regional managers.
