Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) in Braddock, PA, is hiring a full-time Shop Laborer to perform a range of manual duties in our shop and on job sites. Responsibilities include material transport, erecting structures, and operating various hand and power tools, with strict adherence to safety procedures.

Ideal candidates will be able to lift 50 lbs, read drawings, and work well in a team. Applicants must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and willing to undergo background and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to undergo background check and drug testing.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and erect structures in shop or field.
• Operate hand and power tools and basic shop equipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas.
• Read cut sheets/drawings and perform cut-to-length work.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
