Steel Valley Fabricators, LLC (SVF) is a full-service, custom metal fabrication shop located near Pittsburgh, PA, specializing in sheet, plate, structural, and pipe fabrication in a 40,000 sq. ft. facility.

Duties Include:

1. Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, saws, impact wrenches, and material handling equipment.
2. Load and unload materials and equipment, and verify deliveries.
3. Read drawings and operate saws for cutting materials.
4. Use grinding and fitting tools to prepare metals.
5. Operate forklifts, cranes, and other handling equipment.
6. Apply shop coatings and maintain a clean work environment.
7. Set up and dismantle scaffolding and rigging as needed.
8. Perform safety checks and maintenance on tools and equipment.
9. Inspect and use specialized equipment like aerial platforms.
10. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate safety gear.
11. Lift up to 50 lbs and process related paperwork.

Employee Must:

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. and willing to undergo background, motor vehicle, and drug tests.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Possess good communication, attendance, and punctuality skills.
• Have basic math and measuring skills, attention to detail, and a self-motivated attitude.
