• Analyze project requirements: review drawings, specifications and customer requests to understand scope and complexity
• Prepare cost estimates: material, labor, machine time, and subcontracting costs for custom parts and assemblies
• Develop quotes: detailed proposals and pricing for customers, ensuring accuracy and profitability
• Vendor coordination: obtain pricing from suppliers for raw materials, tooling, and outsourced processes
• Maintain cost database: update and manage historical cost data for materials, labor rates, and machine operations
• Collaborate with teams: work with engineering and production to validate feasibility and lead times
• Other duties may be assigned

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Physical Requirement:

Balancing; must have fine motor skills; some light lifting; the ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to sit for most of the day

Visual Requirement:

Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen

Hearing Requirement:

Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information
