Job summary

I&M Machine & Fabrication Corp in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking an estimator to prepare proposals and provide accurate pricing for custom metal fabrication projects, helping us win work while maintaining profitability.

You will work directly with customers to refine requirements, read and interpret blueprints, perform cost analysis, and deliver complete estimates with supporting information for internal processes, including timelines and delivery options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating in a job shop environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of steel and steel processes.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must possess communication and people skills.
• Prefer a strong background in metal fabrication and machining processes.
