Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions in Fargo, ND seeks a Metal Fabrication Production Worker for a sign manufacturing company. This contract role pays $20.00-$25.00 per hour, with a 1st shift from Monday to Friday and reliable weekly pay.

You’ll operate metal fabrication equipment (manual, semi-automatic, CNC), manage production documentation, perform basic maintenance, and support inventory and logistics to keep the shop running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to operate manual, semi-automated, or CNC equipment.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain manufacturing orders and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic metal fabrication equipment.
• Execute and document production through MRP system.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect quality of work and complete associated documentation.
• Shear and punch aluminum materials.
• Maintain a neat and orderly Sign Shop and lot.
• Pull all parts of an order together using work orders and stage for manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of sheeting and materials.
• Assist with logistics and incoming product handling.
• Participate in weekly shop meetings and other tasks as assigned.

In this role, you’ll either manufacture traffic control and specialty signs using metal fabrication equipment or handle kitting and inventory control by pulling and prepping orders for production.
