Job summary

L.K Jordan is seeking a Metal Fabrication Operator in Corpus Christi, TX to support fabrication projects including tanks, vessels, pipe, and structural components. You will set up and operate plate rolling machines and read blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of metal fabrication experience
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Experience operating plate rolling machines
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Overtime and weekend availability (as needed)
• OSHA 10/30 preferred
• Pass background check and drug screen

Metal Fabrication Operator

Supporting fabrication projects including tanks, vessels, pipe, structural components, and custom rolled assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operating plate rolling machines specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints Set up and operate plate rolling machines Calculate and adjust settings Measure and verify rolled parts Tack Welding Perform routine maintenance

Qualifications

Two plus years of experience in metal fabrication, structural steel and rolling machine operation Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, radius/template gauges, tape measures). Geometry and math skills with ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings Experience operating overhead cranes and/or forklifts Familiar carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, standing for extended period of time, bend and reaching Ability to work at heights Experience operating overhead crane and forklift OSHA 10/30 preferred Pass background check and drug screen Able to work overtime and weekends as needed Have reliable transportation
