• Remove weld spatter and marks from welded metal frames, prior to painting.
• Paint metals utilizing a paint booth and spray gun.

Metal Fabricator

Reports to: Operations Manager

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Primary Objective: The responsibilities of the Metal Fabricator are to cut, bend, use roll bending equipment, drill, grind/prep and paint tubular and flat metals. This individual will work with a wide variety of equipment and materials, working from engineered drawings and instructions.

Hiring for first shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm M-F.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Starting wage: $17-18 per hour based on skills and experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Cutting
  • Cut tubular and flat metals using horizontal band saws and chop saws
• Bending
  • Bend tubular and flat metals using roll bending equipment
• Drilling
  • Drill tubular and flat metals using drill presses and hand drills
• Grinding/Prepping
  • Remove weld spatter and marks from welded, metal frames, prior to painting
• Paint
  • Paint metals utilizing a paint booth and spray gun

Education/Experience

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with industrial sewing preferred
